Реферат “The History of the English Literature”

Nowadays, teenagers read mostly English literature. Although there are a lot of great writers in Russia who have written excellent works, British writers still attract the young more. Recently, I began to read a lot. I started with the books that were offered to me by my friend. All these books have been written in England or somewhere else, but certainly not in Russia. It was at that moment that I began to wonder what is so different between Russian and English writers. And I also was interested if English literature had any influence on the Russian one. I hope I am not the only person interested in the issue, so I decide to make a research on it.

So, the aim of my research was to get general knowledge of the history of the English literature from the end of the VII^th century to the middle of the XX^th century as well as to study the issue of influence of the English literature over the Russian one in different historical periods.

Реферат по английскому языку "Pierre de Coubertin, l’homme qui a fait renaître les Jeux Olympiques"

Les Jeux Olympiques ont étés fondés au IX^e siècle av.J.C., - c’est un fait avec lequel tous sont familiers. Mais beaucoup moins de personnes sont au courant qu’ils ont subi une pause pour plus de mille ans. Ils n’ont étés refondés qu’à la fin du XIX^e siècle, grâce aux efforts d’un français. Baron Pierre de Coubertin est l’homme qui a fait répandre l’olympisme dans l’Europe et ailleurs, et qui a fair renaître la tradition des Jeux Olympiques.

La naissance des Jeux Olympiques

Les Jeux Olympiques sont nés au IX^e siècle av.J.C. Les grecs ont beaucoup de légendes liées avec leur apparition.

1. L’une des légendes les plus anciennes est celles de Pelopse, que mentionnent le poète de Rome ancien Ovidiy dans ses “Métamorphoses” et le poète de la Grèce ancienne Pindar. Lorsque le tsar de Troie, Il, a conquéri Sipil, la ville natale de Pelopse (fils de Tantal), il a quitté sa patrie et s’est précipité vers la Grèce. Au sud de la Grèce, il a trouvé une presqu’-île et s’y est installé. Dès ce temps-là, cette presqu’-île est nommée Peloponnes. Il y a rencontré Hypodamie, la fille du tsar d’une ville du nord-ouest de Peloponnes. Il en est tombé amoureux et a décidé de demander la main de Hypodamie à Énomaï, son père.

Сочинение по английскому языку "Уильям Шекспир. Пьесы"

Уильям Шекспир – великий английский поэт и драматург эпохи возрождения. Время, в котором жил и творил Шекспир, было переломным в истории Западной Европы. Шекспир был современником великой эпохи, получившей название «Возрождение».В Англии более интенсивно, чем где-либо в Европе, складывался капиталистический способ производства. Это был период бурного роста богатства и одновременно широкого распространения нищеты. В обществе появились люди, стремившиеся по-новому осмыслить жизнь и назначение человека. Возникло новое гуманистическое мировоззрение, которое утверждало величие, красоту и бесконечные возможности человека. Как и другие гуманисты, Шекспир верил, что лучшие начала в мире и человеке восторжествуют.

Наследие Шекспира составляет 154 сонета, несколько небольших поэм, стихотворные циклы и 37 пьес. Его творчество является наглядным примером расцвета и кризиса гуманистической идеологии.
